In 1992, the NEOGEO AES (Advanced Entertainment System) console was released, an amazing, groundbreaking new home system that literally brought the arcade to the home for the very first time. Although the NEOGEO Fighting Games have lived on to be re-created in other formats, from the Megadrive/Genesis, right up to the Playstation3. Of course, all of that that came at a price: At £500 then  ( and over £1000 today online). The NEOGEO AES was simply too expensive to be popular. But that didn’t stop everyone from wanting one....
